Fix- Facebook Share Post Wrong Title

AssalamuAlaikum Readers,

Have ever suffered from such problem that when you share your articles or anything else on Facebook and it just shows the Wrong Title, Website Title or No Title at all even if you have meta tags installed and you starts thinking that is it your template which is causing the problem and start searching and found no solution as it happened with me I searched for this issue made a lot of tickets but no solution and then I start searching on Facebook about it and what I found was Facebook Debug Tool what it does is that it debugs your link to the Facebook and then it works perfectly on sharing and everything start showing up and for newbies debug is I can say Updating in other form and I was looking for it because my Facebook Recommendation Bar was not working perfectly.

Debugging Your Link:

1. Go to Facebook Debug Tool.

2. Copy the link of the article which is not showing the title etc perfectly.

3. Paste the copied link in the blank box on the Facebook Debug Tool Page and click on Debug.

If your results are similar to the on below in the picture then your link is debugged and ready to be shared!

For Those Who Don't Have Meta Tags Installed:

Just below <head> paste the following piece of script:

<meta content='article' property='og:type'/>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.postImageThumbnailUrl' property='og:image'/>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.title' property='og:site_name'/>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.pageName' property='og:title'/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.metaDescription != ""'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' name='description'/>
</b:if>

then your template will look something like this

This will add meta description and Facebook sharing meta tag which will automatically debug all your new articles.

(Note): For all of your previous articles you have to manually debug them even if you have applied the code above the old articles will not update automatically so you have to debug them one by one.
